OUR HISTORY

The company was founded in 1997 by Mr. R. Vasudevan and Mr. A.S. Venkatraman, with the aim of providing holistic financial and accounting services, based on a company’s specific methods of operation. The company’s name was derived from the fact that it brought together a synergy of strong corporate experience, drive to enable companies to improve financial efficiency and integration of technology to achieve these aims.

Within the first couple of years post launch, the management noticed that there was a strong need for cost accounting services that went beyond the incumbent systems. This led Pro~Active Solutech to develop ABIS~Pro – an activity based costing software that can be customised to help the company glean critical information for informed decision making.

Since then, the company has grown to become one of the best regarded names in the field of cost accounting services.

To date, we have worked with over 120 large and mid-sized firms, and are known as one of the few consulting companies who enable growth and progress beyond expectations.

R. Vasudevan, Founder–Director

M.Com, ACMA, ACS

Mr. Vasudevan has over 40 years of experience in cost management, systems audit, risk management, finance, accounting and secretarial matter. He has designed and headed ABC projects for 25 years, and has worked with several large companies, including as the CFO & Company Secretary of Shriram Investments, Head of Costing & MIS for SRF Ltd. Apart from his role as Director at Pro~Active Solutech, he holds the post of CRO for the Shriram Group.

S. Sigamani, Head (Technical)

M.Sc (CS)

Mr. Sigamani is a systems expert with over 25 years’ experience in the field of development and integration (with ERP – SAP, Oracle, MS, etc.) of software solutions for cost management, pricing and retail solutions. He has extensive technical and functional experience across industries. He is the primary technical consultant in the development of ABC, pricing and Cost accounting records, BI and analytical tools, and has played a critical role in developing all activity based costing implementations of Pro~Active Solutech till date

Dr. Jayaram, Sr. Consultant (Functional)

M.Com, M. Phil, FCMA, CGMA (US), ACMA (UK), Ph.D. (Cost Management)

Dr. Jayaram has over 23 years’ experience in cost management, ERP systems, operations audit, cost audit and financial accounting. He has conducted more than 150 training programmes in cost management for leading corporates, and successfully implemented ABC systems across diverse industries. He has handled more than 12 activity based costing implementations, across diverse ERPs in auto, auto ancillaries, pharmaceuticals, pharma research and engineering. He is a Professor of Practice at IFMR GSB, Krea University (Andhra Pradesh), and Advisor at Jayaram & Associates (a CMA firm).

M. Sathiya Narayanan, Sr. Consultant (Technical)

Mr. Sathiya Narayanan is a techno functional expert with close to 25 years’ experience in ERP and costing. He is the principal techno functional consultant at Pro~Active Solutech for all software implementation projects.

N.K. Rajprakash, Functional Consultant

B.Com, ACMA

Mr. Rajprakash has close to 10 years’ experience in the auto ancillaries and OEM sectors in the areas of pricing and costing, inventory valuation, cost audit, management information systems, ABC, and asset and inventory audits. He is also a partner at Jayaram & Associates (a CMA Firm).

Bharanidharan K., Sr. Consultant (Technical)

Mr. Bharanidharan is a systems expert with close to 18 years’ experience in the field of development and Integration (with ERP – SAP, Oracle, MS, cloud solutions, etc.) of software solutions for cost management, pricing and retail solutions. He is a domain expert in C#.net, JavaScript, ReactJS, Oracle, MSSQL, VB, Azure Cloud, etc., and is the primary technical consultant involved in the development of ABC, pricing and cost accounting records, BI & Analytical tools
